2 convicted of rape, murder executed
Two men sentenced to death for murder and rape girls were hanged at Jashore Central Jail. They were Mintu and alias Kalu along with Azizul who were both from Rayalakshipur village in the Chuadanga's Alamdanga upazila. The bodies of the two were handed over at the funeral of their relatives. The executions were executed at 11:45pm Monday the prison official Tuhin Kanti Khan later told reporters that evening.
